Channel 4 News  Anchor, Nalina Shapiro, served as the co-emcee with Al Vaughters at Moving Miracles annual recital in May.  This was Nalina’s first introduction to this special dance program and she was truly moved by the performance.

High Hurdles Volunteers Needed

High Hurdles is in need of leaders and side-walkers for our therapeutic horseback riding classes. Volunteers should be at least 14 years old, be physically able to assist by leading a horse or assisting in the safety of a rider by walking alongside, able to commit to 4 hours monthly (1 hour per week), and able to attend a 1 hour training and barn orientation.

SASi Mission Statement

 

SASi mission is to provide to adults, children, and elderly individuals in need of services, habilitative and rehabilitative programs, including both work and non-work related programs providing meaningful activity, evaluation, supportive social services, transportation and counseling in human relationships; and to provide services including community residential facilities, to individuals described in the first sentence; and in furtherance of the purposes set forth above to establish, operate and maintain one or more community residences.
