SEMP superstar earns smile pin at job

We want to give a shoutout to one of our Supported Employment Program superstars, Brian Gaske. Brian started working at Burger King six months ago and recently received a smile review from a drive-thru customer. 😀

The customer made sure to mention Brian by name in the review and said that Brian made their experience “great.” He  now has a friendly smile pin for his nametag because of it.

“It made me feel happy and like I accomplished something,” Brian said after receiving his smile. He also said that he likes the “friendly atmosphere” at Burger King and that he feels accepted by his coworkers. ❤️

“The thing that impresses me most about working with Brian is his ability to learn tasks,” said Brian’s job trainer, Megan Howard. “He is able to do most of his tasks independently with very little coaching. He is incredibly motivated and always has a positive attitude.”

Way to go, Brian! 👏
