As global concerns about the current COVID-19 outbreak grow, sasi is doing our best to minimize the disruptions to our day-to-day operations and keep everyone, including patients and our staff, healthy and safe. While many other area clinics are not providing services at this time, sasi clinics are open and providing Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Mental Health Counseling and Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling via telemedicine. sasi clinics remain open by appointment only for clients unable to access services via technology. We have reduced the number of employees at our sites with many staff now working from home. Enhanced cleaning measures have been implemented at all of our locations. All patients are being screened prior to entering our buildings and anyone accompanying patients to appointments are being asked to wait in their vehicle.
The COVID-19 outbreak is an unprecedented event and is, understandably, causing a great deal of anxiety in our community. Throughout this outbreak, sasi will continue to do our best to meet the clinical needs for people with developmental disabilities.
