Here’s something to hum about. The Original Kazoo Company, a division of sasi, will be inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in October.
The announcement came yesterday during a press conference at the Buffalo History Museum. Representatives from the BMHOF saved the best for last, as they announced the Original Kazoo Company as the final of the 12 members of the Class of 2025.
“This is a good one,” said BMHOF Vice President Tom Lorenz at the beginning of his introduction.
Joe Place, sasi’s vice president of operations, and Amanda Desjarlais, sasi’s manager of production, represented the Original Kazoo Company at the press conference. Amanda also participated in a video interview afterward. A video of all of the inductees will be shown during the induction ceremony on Oct. 8, at Samuel’s Grande Manor in Clarence.
