Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is provided for the purpose of minimizing or alleviating physical disabilities and potential associated health complications. Following a thorough assessment of their functional ability, the Physical Therapist develops a plan of treatment designed to increase the person’s functional mobility and productivity thereby promoting their independence to the greatest extent possible. Services may include gait training, determining safe transfer status, range of motion exercises, strengthening programs and the development of home exercise programs for those people who have life-long needs.
