Habilitation Instructor (DSP) – Angola/Derby NY

DESCRIPTION:

$17.00 hr – Opportunity for Overtime. Full benefits (health, dental, 401k), paid time off) for all Full-time employees. Part-time positions available.

As a direct support professional, the Habilitation Instructor is responsible for delivering quality services while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment that supports the emotional and physical well-being of people receiving supports.  The Habilitation Instructor is committed to a person-centered approach and supports the activities outlined in the individual’s plans of service.  The Habilitation Instructor will encourage people to lead self-directed lives, including active participation in their community to the greatest extent possible.

REQUIREMENTS::

Must be at least 18 years old.  A valid New York State Driver’s License with driving record that is acceptable within sasi’s criteria will be required. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
