Erin Brauen became the Equine Program Manager at High Hurdles in 2017. She is a certified riding instructor with the Certified Horsemanship Association, a non-profit association that promotes excellence in safety and education for the entire horse industry. High Hurdles is also a CHA-certified program. Erin has expertise teaching lessons, and working with the individuals, volunteers and families.
Erin received formal training in equestrian science from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, and also has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University, where she graduated in 2009.
Prior to accepting the role as Equine Program Manager, Erin spent seven years at High Hurdles as a full-time therapeutic riding instructor.
