The SASi Foundation
The SASi Foundation directs the agency's charitable contributions and fundraising initiatives. Governed by a volunteer Board of
Directors comprised of business and community leaders, the Foundation works to secure SASi's future as a provider of services to
thousands of families in need. A variety of Foundation initiatives encompassing annual appeals, special events, gifts of caring, in-kind and planned giving
help support SASi's mission.
The SASi Foundation is our investment in the future - a future where all persons, no matter what their level of ability, will be afforded
every opportunity to be productive and achive their maximum level of independence in all aspects of their lives.

Annual Events
Each year we host several annual events including the Murder Mystery Dinner and Theme Basket Raffle, Golf Tournament, NASCAR-Family Night at the Races and the SASi Ball.
The success of each event depends on volunteer, staff, corporate, friends and family support. These events raise much needed community dollars and promote awareness of our mission.
Special Appeals
Throughout the year, SASi sponsors special appeals that provide opportunities for business, employees, friends and families to support the Foundation. Volunteers
who provide support to make these appeals successful serve as a great source of inspiration as we continue to meet the challenges that lie ahead.
Planned Giving
Another important way to support SASi's future is through planned giving. Planned gifts are tax-deductible contributions that do not significantly affect current finances and after-tax income.
There is no greater act of generosity than supporting a non-profit organization through gifts of securities, life insurance or in your estate plans. You and your loved ones can receive

Gifts of Caring
Often friends and family of SASi wish to remember someone through a memorial gift or acknowledge a special event such as a birthday or anniversary.
Throughout the year, we accept gifts of caring and honor requests in a sincere, dignified manner.
In Kind
Gifts of new or gently used products and merchandise are also gratefully accepted. Please call the

Donation Information
The SASi Foundation works throughout the year to raise money needed to supplement the gap between the available funding sources and
our growing program needs. The foundation is grateful for the generous support from family members, corporations, staff and friends of SASi.
All donations are used to benefit SASi program participants in any & all program areas. In 2006 the foundation purchased exercise
equipment, computer software, recreational equipment therapeutic & sensory supplies. We also completed the construction of a 12-stall barn
and enclosed riding arena, which is the new home for SASi’s High Hurdles, Therapeutic Riding Program. All gifts to the SASi Foundation are
tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
