Occupational therapy addresses an individual’s ability to initiate and engage in essential and meaningful activities of daily living. Therapeutic intervention may include hand and upper extremity range of motion and strengthening. Additionally, we offer sensory integration, cognitive retraining, compensatory techniques, and/or environmental adaptations. Occupational therapy may also address the necessity of and maintenance of assistive equipment and wheelchair seating and positioning.
