On Thursday, September 13 sasi held its Annual Board Breakfast where the Founders Award, an Exemplary Service Award, and seven DSP Exceptional Service Awards were presented to sasi staff members. The following staff were recognized for their exceptional service:
Pat is instrumental in keeping the apartments running smoothly. She has a wonderful relationship with the guys she works with and shows her dedication to them and the agency every day.
Mary’s willingness to help out anywhere and at any time is admired by all. Her genuine care and concern for the people she works with is both admired and respected. She brings joy and laughter with her every day, creating a pleasant and positive environment.
Vincenza “Vinnie” Frangiamore
Vinnie constantly demonstrates a wonderful example of the person–centered approach. Vinnie’s compassionate nature extends to everyone she works with. Her coworkers describe her as “The example of what we should all aspire to be as caregivers.”
Kris consistently goes out of her way to provide unique experiences and opportunities for the individuals she works with. Kris is very creative with lesson planning and thinks outside the box to actively engage individuals in new and fun activities.
Tania’s dedication to providing the highest quality services is greatly appreciated. She goes out of her way to exceed expectations when providing supports to the individuals.
The kind and compassionate care that Sam provides has earned her the trust and respect of her coworkers and the families of the individuals who attend the respite program. Her dedication to giving her best – and then some – is appreciated by everyone she works with.
Ray’s loyalty and dedication are respected by his coworkers, family members and the individuals he supports. Ray’s knowledge, thoughtfulness and concern for others has made him an asset to the Dake Hill IRA family.
Exemplary Service Award
Lynn’s diligence to ensure that everyone’s unique needs are met has been instrumental in the successful blending of the Eden and Derby Day Habilitation programs. Her ability to build relationships and provide compassionate care to those she supports is a true demonstration of a person-first philosophy.
Wendy is a Voc Tech at our Sardinia site. She has been part of the solution to the employment puzzle as individuals from the Sardinia program and local area are spreading their wings through the Community Prevocational Services Program. Her day-to-day trainings and the excitement she brings to outings is both inspirational and effective with her team. Wendy is always on the lookout to maximize the opportunities Sardinia can provide to the participants of this program. Her influence on those who participate in the program is evident in their eager anticipation and smiles!
