On Saturday, August 26, High Hurdles hosted its annual Horse Show, a private event for the riders and their families, during which they demonstrate skills learned throughout the year.
Registration for the show began at 8:30 a.m. followed by classes at 9:30 a.m. Morning classes were broken up into age groups, and will consisted of walk and trot equitation and obstacles, both on lead and off lead.
After a break for lunch, riders were invited to participate in afternoon games, including cloverleaf barrels, flag races, straight barrels and egg and spoon races.
Judging was handled by Liz Wierzba, PTMS. Also, we would like to extend a special thank you to all High Hurdles volunteers and the Sardinia Saddlers 4-H Club for volunteering their help with the show and lunch.
